The Beaglepoo is an extremely curious and intelligent dog, with Beagle and Poodle parents that contribute loving traits to their fun-loving and playful personality. Also known as Poogles, these dogs are very friendly, with a high energy level and love for getting mental and physical exercise with their owners. These dogs are very easy going and if they are well socialized early on, they tend to get along really well with other people as well as animals. Just like their Beagle parent, they will love chasing things and having a prey-drive that can make them wander. Beaglepoos typically don’t bark as much as Beagles tend to, but can still make very good watch dogs. This breed will love having lots of attention, and don’t do well when left alone for long periods of time. They require daily exercise and will really enjoy doing puzzles or other activities that provide a bit of a mental challenge as well.
Beaglepoos are typically around 20-30 pounds, and 10-15 inches tall, but this is often dependent on the size of the poodle parent, and how much influence each puppy got from each parent. This also means that their coat color and texture can vary greatly as well, and Beaglepoos could have a wide variety of different markings. Depending on which type of coat they inherit, grooming needs will also vary. While Poodles are known to be hypoallergenic and not shed, Beaglepoos may shed depending on the coat they inherit, but they typically shed very little.
